Meet Our Team




Jon arrived in Asheville in 1989 to attend Warren Wilson College. Jon is the Principal Broker and Owner of Sarver Realty Group LLC, established in 2005 as a vibrant boutique firm dedicated to client satisfaction and integrity.  Jon has brokered over $75 Million in commercial and residential real estate in his career. Recently, Jon assembled a series of historic buildings with an eye to preserving the character of traditional Asheville. Jon is an avid cyclist and runner and he and his wife Amanda, who works as a property manager, have three children.



Chief Executive Officer

Todd graduated from Appalachian State University in 1988 with a degree in Real Estate and Business.  Since the age of 20, Todd  has been buying and selling properties.  He worked at Appalachian Realty Associates in Asheville for many years and his love of numbers drew him towards real estate accounting. He opened his own accounting firm, Todd and Company, in 2008 before taking on the role of Chief Financial Officer of ALFIE.  He and his wife Amy have one son, Hill, and they spend their time hiking and biking, exploring the wonders of Western North Carolina.



Chief Financial Officer

Kim is a native of North Carolina and has called Asheville home since 1995. She has a Bachelors degree from the University of NC Greensboro and an A.A.S. from AB Tech.  Her varied studies have given her the ability to be creative on her career path at ALFIE. After managing an Asheville Real Estate Company for 10 years, she worked as a manager at a local country club.  Alongside her family and friends, (she and Todd Fowler are siblings) Kim enjoys the excitement and multifaceted responsibilities of her role with ALFIE, as no day is ever the same.




Born in New York on Long Island.  Karl lived there for 28 years before moving to Asheville in 2020.  He earned his Bachelor’s in Accounting and his Master’s in Taxation both from SUNY Old Westbury.  Karl worked in public accounting for 8 years before joining ALFIE--6 in New York and 2 in Asheville.  He received his CPA license in 2018.  Outside of work Karl is a board and video game nerd with his wife Amanda and also enjoys amateur hiking with his dog, Bean.



Loan Origination Support

Elisabeth has lived in Asheville for over 30 years. She began her real estate related career in property management before being hired by Jon Sarver as his office and building manager for Sarver Real Estate. She contingues to work closely with Jon and is an integral part of our WNC loan origination. When outside of ALFIE, Elisabeth enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.



Director of Loan Processing

Growing up in Asheville, Jack flew the nest and moved to Towson, MD to study at Goucher College and interned at Alfie in 2019. He graduated in May of 2020 with a B.A. in Business Management after working at tax company in the Inner Harbor of Baltimore. He spent a semester abroad at the SAA Business School of Management in Turin, Italy and has worked as a teacher’s assistant while in school. Jack’s recreational activities include Muay Thai and going on hikes with his roommate around Asheville.



Executive Assistant to the CFO

Ashley is our most recent addition to the ALFIE team. She holds a degree from Clemson University in Business Management & Human Resources and recently earned her NC Real Estate License.  Her professional experiences include various aspects of banking and Human Resources consulting and management.  When she is not working, she can be found spending time with her 3 children, enjoying the outdoors on a run or bike, or at her local gym.



Loan Originator

Craig, a native of Philadelphia, PA, is a 1991 graduate of LaSalle University and moved to Asheville in 2000 following a career as a casino marketing executive with Harrah’s Entertainment.  A seasoned business operator and sales professional, he has spent much of his time managing and consulting in the hospitality industry. As investor relations specialist and loan originator, Craig is responsible for expanding ALFIE's reach between the Asheville and Upstate SC markets. When he isn't working, Craig, the father of two wonderful teenagers, Kayla and Eric, can be found mountain biking, running, and hiking the trails of WNC.

Loan Originator

Matt is a native of Kansas City and a graduate of the University of Kansas with a BA in Economics. After moving to NC in 1993, Matt began buying, renovating, and selling properties. He obtained his NC real estate sales license in 1994 and his NC builders license in 1998. He has lived in various cities in FL and NC, primarily working as a builder & project manager in commercial and residential construction. He has also served  as a DIY building consultant for homeowners, and a licensed property claims adjuster. Matt joined ALFIE in 2019 to establish the firm’s presence in the NC Triad markets. In addition to USTA league tennis, he enjoys spending his spare time outside SUPing, surfing, kayaking and biking. Matt is the proud father of two daughters, Mia and Ellie.




As an Asheville native, Patrick received his degrees from NC State and spent time working in France and Charleston, SC before deciding to return and open the Gan Shan series of restaurants. After the early 2020 sale of his Charlotte Street restaurant, he expanded his career into various aspects of the Western North Carolina Real Estate markets and consulting. Outside of work, Patrick is an avid cyclist and enjoys spending time with friends, family, and his two dogs Beatrice and Arthur.
